Johannes Lindner

Johannes Lindner is a German designer and architect, renowned for his minimalist approach and clean, functional design. Having studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University, Lindner combines his architectural training with product design, resulting in pieces characterized by simple elegance, clear lines, and functional quality. His work is heavily influenced by Scandinavian design principles, focusing on the purity of form and functionality.

Lindner founded his own studio in 2014, and his design philosophy revolves around creating timeless objects with honest, sustainable materials that are meant to last. His interdisciplinary approach to design is informed by his architectural background, where he emphasizes the relationship between form, function, and human behavior. Over the years, he has collaborated with international clients and companies, focusing on furniture and product design, often bringing a unique blend of minimalism and practical elegance to his creations.

In addition to his design work, Lindner also teaches at the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg-Schweinfurt, where he shares his design principles with students, further emphasizing the importance of simplicity, craftsmanship, and sustainability in design.
